Ahmed Elsabban Creative Supervisor | 3D Art Direction & Look Development Ahmed Elsabban is an Egyptian visual artist and Creative Supervisor whose work brings together traditional artistic foundations, visual storytelling, and the evolving possibilities of 3D production. His artistic journey began with formal studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Painting. This foundation shaped his understanding of composition, color, form, light, and visual balance—principles that continue to inform his approach to character design, environment development, and cinematic imagery. With over 16 years of professional experience across animation, feature films, and advertising, Ahmed has developed a multidisciplinary practice that moves between concept art, character design, environment design, 3D modeling, texturing, look development, lighting, and rendering. His experience combines hands-on artistic craftsmanship with creative leadership, allowing him to guide projects from early visual exploration to final production. Throughout his career, Ahmed has led creative teams and specialized departments, helping define artistic direction, establish visual styles, and translate creative ideas into cohesive, production-ready imagery. Whether developing characters, shaping environments, or refining the visual language of a project, he approaches each challenge with an emphasis on artistic consistency, storytelling, and the relationship between design and technical execution. His recent work also explores the role of AI-assisted tools in visual development, using emerging technologies to expand creative exploration, accelerate iteration, and investigate color, lighting, mood, and visual style before carrying those ideas into the 3D production pipeline. At the heart of Ahmed’s approach is a belief that technology is most powerful when guided by a strong artistic vision. By combining his Fine Arts background with extensive production experience and an evolving creative toolkit, he strives to create visual work that is thoughtful, cohesive, and memorable.
