Rodrigo A.
I began my career in architecture around 1997 as a building technician. In 2003, I founded a company with two partners, and we secured our first major client - a partnership that continues to this day. I started studying 3D and visual effects for film and, in 2008, launched my solo career by creating my own business. I worked for a year as a 3D Artist for Embraer, a major Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, producing 3D models, animations, and images for their Executive, Commercial, and Defense & Security aviation divisions. This expansion led me to participate in significant events, such as the LAAD Defence & Security 2018 (the largest defense fair in Latin America), where I developed images, films, and VR projects for the KC-390 aircraft. Additionally, in July 2018, I attended the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget Airport, working for nine days with my VR project installed inside the KC-390. That same year, I transitioned from 3DS Max to Houdini, focusing on procedural modeling, destruction, environment creation, and a variety of FX techniques to enhance my skills as a 3D artist. I then had the opportunity to join Tangent Animation in Ontario, Canada, as a Senior Environment and Hard Surface Modeler. Currently, I work as a Technical Artist, specializing in the development of procedural tools, environments, and technical solutions for high-complexity productions.
