Daniel M.
Hi, my name is Daniel, and I love to dream, make, and bring things to life. I’m a disabled veteran, Puerto Rican, living on Florida’s Treasure Coast, where I get to do what I love most: be a stay‑at‑home dad, husband, and full‑time creative. My wife works remotely as a clinical dietitian, and together we homeschool our two kids. We also have an older daughter proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force. I studied 3D Animation with a Game Art concentration at Digital Media Arts College in Boca Raton, starting in 2013. Before that, I served in the U.S. Army from 2005–2008 as part of a Field Artillery unit at Fort Stewart, Georgia. After my honorable discharge, I worked in casino security at Mardi Gras Casino from 2009 to 2013, and later served in the Army Reserves (2012–2015) with an engineer unit in Perrine, Florida. I’m proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer/Photo, After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, and Marmoset Toolbag, with some experience in Unreal Engine 5. I’m always learning and leveling up. I create 2D graphics, 3D props, 3D animations, 2D illustrations, photo touch‑ups, and photo manipulations. My current focus is 3D environment props, especially hard‑surface work, which is where I’m strongest. Outside of digital art, I enjoy gardening, gaming, and growing tamarind trees as bonsai — I currently have around 70 of them. Creativity is part of everything I do, whether digitally or in the physical world. I take on freelance work when the right project comes along, but I primarily create out of passion. Lately, I’ve been focused on producing 3D props for sale on ArtStation, geared toward game developers. If my style and skills match what you’re looking for, I’d be happy to help bring your ideas to life.
