I'm a digital artist that specialises in dark fantasy illustration. I draw inspiration from the works of From Software's Bloodborne, Dark Souls and Elden Ring, Guillermo Del Toro's movies, Masters in the Symbolist movement and Romanticism, Kentaro Miura's Berserk and Yoshitaka Amano's work in Vampire Hunter D and Final Fantasy. I had a 10 year run doing VFX compositing for film, TV, and commercials using Nuke. At times I would also create HUD and UI graphics in Illustrator and Photoshop and 2D animations using After Effects for our clients. These tasks ignited my passion for digital art, and I sought out books and tutorials on digital painting and various types of reference materials to teach myself more. I was especially invested in learning to correctly portray anatomy, and I have bought tens of thousands of reference photos over the years. I do not use AI in any capacity; where references are not available, I use my 3D skills to build base models using Blender and DAZ Studio. Now I'm looking for opportunities in Illustration. I am especially interested in creating illustrations for games, books, and TTRPG, but I am open to any other projects as well.. Aside from my VFX-related work, I have made several album covers for various clients, including Ro Panuganti, Pixel Mixers, Dwelling of Duels, FerdK, Torby Brand, and many more.
