I've worked in post production as a compositor for over two decades. Having began as a runner at VTR, I tinkered in compositing with some assisting on Flame before progressing to become their first combustion operator, supporting flame and smoke with roto and paint. As the sole person in the company using combustion in the days before google, I became very good at experimenting to find solutions. I moved on to composite using other software. First in Fusion then Nuke. I have experience of working on Films, Commercials and Pop Promos. An all round compositor, I'm able to take a shot to completion from source plates, roto, paint clean-up, tracking in 2D and 3D compositing green screen and 3d elements, to final grain and grade. I've experience in training junior artists and team leading, developing training materials and setting up pipelines. I have experience working with clients and working with production to facilitate good project management with bidding timescales and regular updates etc. I'm able to work with minimal supervision. I enjoy problem solving. I love learning and am able to pick up new software and techniques quickly. I enjoy creative aspects such as look development and testing software capabilities. I like a challenge.
