Since I was young, I've had two great passions: cars and computers. As a child, I spent hours tinkering with the 3D models from car games, altering their look and their textures so I could give them my personal touch. Because of that, I decided to leave my home country -Spain- at the age of 17 to do a degree in Automotive Design at Coventry University. During my four years at Coventry, I got involved in 3D modelling as I considered it a very powerful design tool. First I took a course on Autodesk Alias & VRED which helped me understand the principles of good vehicle modelling, and after that, completed a two year postgraduate course on 3D Modelling, Animation and Visual Effects with Maya and Houdini in Madrid. Currently I am looking for opportunities to take my skills and my passion to a professionaly environment, ideally in a position as a 3D Vehicle Artist.

My name is Orhun Evcimen. I'm 14 years experienced illustrator and 3D generalist. In 2005 i'm graduated from Dokuz Eylul University Fine Arts Faculty department of Graphic Design (Bachelor Degree). Then i started to work as a junior graphic designer along one year in local advertise agencies in Izmir. At the end of one year i decided to go to Istanbul for being a CG generalist. I worked one year in İstanbul. During this process, I produced freelance 2d/3d animations and graphic design works. Then i had to go back to Izmir because of personal reasons. Started in France, at Cryo in 1994 ("Hardline"), then Silmarils in 1995 ("Deus") and back to Cryo in 1996 ("Barb Wire", "Atlantis"...). In 1997, moved to the UK to work at Simtex on "XLR8". Joined Argonaut in 1998 as a Senior Artist on "Malice", then Lead Artist on "I-Ninja". Also contributed to "Catwoman", as well as various prototypes including "Narnia", "Mission Impossible", "Harry Potter" etc...
