Pixologic Release ZBrush 2018

Pixologic announced the release for which is a free upgrade for all registered users. The Pixologic Team have continue to bring new innovative workflows and features for digital artists to sink their teeth into. The latest realease brings a upgrade to some of the existing functions but includes new features such as Sculptris Pro, Project Primitives and Polygroupit.



Sculptris Pro is a dynamic tessellation sculpting workflow that allows users to you to overlook the constraints of polygon distribution and just get to sculpting. Starting with any model or shape you want with no maximum polygon limitations, Sculptis Pro gives you the freedom to sculpt without concern on the number of polygons available to capture the detail.

When artists brush across the surface of the model, Sculptris Pro dynamically adds and reduces the number of polygons, allowing artists to focus entirely on achieving the perfect sculpt.


A unique deforming tool that’s provides artists with the ways to blend multiple pieces of geometry into one. Project Primitives include tools reshaping of a mesh, surface cutting, the ability to build up from another piece of mesh and much more.

Polygroupit is a brand-new way of creating groups of polygons that are essential to a smooth workflow. Using a single button click, Polygroupit accurately assess the model surface and intelligently generates groupings in real-time. Polygroupit allows you to delete, add, copy & paste, grow or shrink, create Polygroups symmetrically and PolyPaint to get the exact groupings you need with your model.

  • Create Displacement Maps from the highest subdiv level if HD geometry levels are present
  • OBJ Import will not accept Color Vertex information
  • Presets added to Decimation Master
