Amazon have released the latest beta version of their game engine Lumberyard 1.16. The latest release includes over 250 improvements, fixes and features where they have put heavy focus on the architectural update to the memory management system. The improvements to the memory management system will enable developers to reduce memory fragmentation and footprint by up to 40% based on the feedback provided by pre-release users.
