The idea for Cap. started with some experimentation on blend shapes and ended up as a full character.
Blend shapes were used to explore and iterate on the Cap's face specially, but I've used the same technique on the body and armor too. You can check out some of the process on my blog (https://www.artstation.com/noonestuff/blog/vLmP/alien-faces-concept-pipeline).
